ABOUT JADE…
So… I graduated from The University of Chichester in 2011 where I gained a Batchelor of Science Honours degree in Sports Therapy, but this all came about having retired my initial career path as a ballerina
All through my teens and early twenties I was a dancer however, having been put in pointe shoes from the age of 12 I was regularly in the physio room having treatment to keep me on my toes!
Having experienced lots of sports & physiotherapy I’d gained a keen interest in the human body and why/how we get injured. so, In 2006 I decided to hang up the ballet shoes, retire the dancing idea and pursue a career in sports therapy
My career so far has been and continues to be awesome! I started in professional football, where during my studies in 2007 was offered a job with Brighton & Hove Albion FC and continued with the team until I bit the bullet to go self employed in private practice in 2013
I wasn’t quite ready to give up on the sporting side lines, so whilst building a client base in a private practice in Hassocks, I side stepped into rugby, where for 3 seasons I was clinical lead for Haywards Heath RFC
Amongst all of this I also completed some rotations within the NHS, where I gained a wealth of experience in different fields but particularly enjoying, MSK outpatients, hydrotherapy, respiratory & neuro which spent some time completing a range of rotations within the NHS and really enjoyed working in areas such as MSK, neuro, and respiratory. These learning experiences helped shape my holistic approach to treatment, encouraging me to look at the client as a whole rather than only focusing on the site of injury.
I joined the team at The Heeler Centre in 2013, which in 2020 managed the clinic as well as continuing to treat 6 days a week! In July 2024 I decided it was time to start building my own business so made the difficult decision to leave The Heeler Centre and put all of my energy into me!…

FACTS ABOUT JADE…
Beachside Sports Therapy was created in the summer of 2023, when a lovely colleague of mine, Mo Froud, who I’ve worked with for 10 years at my practice in Hassocks, took on a space at the new Sea Lanes development in Brighton
Mo invited me to come and join her in the beautiful ‘Little Beach Clinic’ and being a lover of the beach & Brighton, and being given the opportunity to set up my own therapy business within ‘The Little Beach Clinic’… how could I say no!!
*Plug- Mo’s an incredible acupuncturist!
Jade can be found across both the Sea Lanes & Shoreham practice
